Frequently asked questions

Can we swim at Diamond Beach?

Swimming at Diamond Beach is strictly weather-dependent and can be hazardous due to strong undertow currents and big waves. For swimming and relaxing in calmer water, Atuh Beach on the opposite side of the ridge is much safer and recommended.

Is there an extra fee to take photos on the Tree House ladder?

Ground entry to the Thousand Islands ridge is included. However, the local community manages a small photo line fee (approx. IDR 50.000) if you wish to climb directly onto the wooden treehouse platform for photos.
